Join Andrew McDonald, the author of the Real Pigeons books, for a series of special online writing workshops.
Over the course of three weeks, Andrew will share his tips and tricks to writing awesome stories – as he empowers us to be silly, weird and super-creative in our story writing.
Every week there will be fun and engaging writing activities todo, as we learn how to write funny stories, create memorable characters, choose the right words, harness the power of secrets in our storytelling and use our real life experiences to write fiction.
There will be plenty of opportunities to chat with Andrew and ask him questions throughout the workshops. Parents and guardians don't need to accompany kids during these workshops, but they are more than welcome to join in the fun!
Workshop participants will just need to be bring a pen (or pencil), paper and – most importantly – their imaginations.
